My review of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Ace Combat was a series I always wanted to try. 7 was on PlayStation Plus this month so I decided to give it a try. I started it up and was immediately hit with two endless scrolls of text that no one has ever and will ever read. After that I am hit with some movie about a girl pilot who defied everyone and became a pilot to avenge her dead dad because you can’t have a positive male role model in modern entertainment. After that I was bombarded with choices I know nothing about like difficulty and how I want the planes to fly even though I haven’t actually played the game yet. Then I got the “choice” to pick which plane I wanted to fly but there was only one option available and it wasn’t the first one so instead of just pressing one button I had to press two. After that another movie came up because heaven forbid you can’t just play the fucking game.

I gave up after that and now it’s just more wasted space on my PlayStation along with all the other self righteous movies masquerading as games.

I give it 35 out of zero stars because that of how negatively it affected my life.

It just hit me that the subtitle is “skies unknown” because they don’t want you to actually fly.
